Delta3D: Extensible Game Platform

AVI's experience with Delta3D, the open source offering from the MOVES Institute, has been favorable.

To provide a game engine development environment for its projects, AVI teamed with the MOVES Institute, part of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS). MOVES has adapted Delta3D to several DoD and DHS training projects. Already the centerpiece of several DoD initiatives, DHS recently sponsored Delta3D modifications for RTS – it is no longer just a “shooter” framework.
