U.S. National Biosurveillance Integration System

Proposed DHS system to give the agency real time data from systems maintained by other agencies.

Data fusion is needed to correlated data from food, animal, air and water monitoring systems provided by various US federal agencies. the National Biosurveillance Integration System is intended to meet this need. A contract award to begin work on this project is expected in mid-2006.
