Related work in commercial and academic projects can shed light on strategies that can help plan for a pandemic. Some of this work is aimed at MTF's, other work may find ways to hook simulation more effectively to games. Research reported elsewhere is summarized, with commentary where appropriate. 2007-04-18 FDA Approves First U.S. Vaccine vs. H5N1
The sanofi pasteur vaccine, which demonstrated effectiveness for about half of the humans receiving it during test trials, will be stockpiled by the U.S. Government and will not be sold commercially.
