IMS LIA Finalists Include Open University Project
Finalists in the IMS "new" category include OpenLearn at the Open University, United Kingdom. OpenLearn is supported by Moodle.

The IMS Global Learning Consortium (GLC) today announced 25 finalists for the new LIA Awards recognizing high impact use of technology in support of learning. According to the IMS press release, "finalists were selected based on several evaluation factors including impact on learner achievement, impact on faculty adoption, financial return, impact on access, impact on accountability, and use of interoperability standards."
There were six finalists in the "new" category,
which included projects as diverse as UC Berkeley/ Google Video and the
University of Michigan's "Who let the scholars loose?" Among the
six finalists in this category was OpenLearn at the Open
University, UK. This project is supported by Moodle.
Finalists were asked to exhibit at the upcoming IMS GLC Learning Impact Conference. A
