Multiagent System for Resource Allocation
Frank Fiedrich presented a distributed simulation system for disaster response activities.
Fiedrich, of the Institute for Crisis, Disaster and Risk Management at George Washington University, proposes three major components to the HLA-based system:
- Simulators for the disaster environment (e.g., damage, fire spread)
- Simulators for the operations of personnel and technical equipment
- Auxiliary simulators
Fiedrich reported preliminary results based on a prototype implementation.
